Davis Professional Services opened for Business on January 1,
2000. Initially, the business
began as a tax preparation service. While assisting the lessor
of the office with many of his clients, the ideas that would
launch Davis Professional Service into its present state where
formed.
Business went well during the first tax session, but Davis Professional Service would not be just
a seasonal business. In preparing small business taxes, it became apparent that many of the owners
had no accounting systems developed for their businesses. Therefore, bookkeeping and daily
monitoring of business activities were null and void. What would happen if these small business
had a system in place that would assist them with monitoring their business activities and
therefore seeing more profit for their business?

Inquiry on how to institute such a business was well underway. Of course, there were the naysayers
who thought Davis Professional Services should stick to tax preparation, but the
provision for the vision was surfacing at every juncture.
Davis Professional Services operated in a small office on Haynes Blvd for the first
six months of business. However, because of the great need for their services, Davis
Professional Services business expanded quickly. They
moved into its Crowder Blvd location. As business continued to grow we were proud to employ
four full time on site employees, two full time in field employees
and one student worker. And now Davis Professional Services has purchased its own 7000 square
foot three suite office building.
We have not only grown in office space and employment, but also in the service offered.
